I have been with Vodacom for 10 years and they were by no means perfect. 3 months ago I decided "if I am going to pay for poor service and reception, I may as we'll pay less". I wish I had never uttered these words. There is no way that a business person who views communication and internet access as a business critical service can use the Cell C network. I live in fish Hoek and can't get 3G access even if I stand next to the tower, I have tried this. I would say at least 60% of my calls received go straight to voicemail. Once I receive a call I can not move without the signal dropping and it sounding like I am underwater. My wife also changed and has a very similar experience. I am also sick and tired of the cell c automated responses and no follow up. As soon as my 90 day contract is over I will definitely be porting back to Vodacom. I wish Hello Peter had a facility to upload images so that I can substantiate these claims with screenshots.
