I need this problem to be fixed!!!

I received a Samsung S3 mini as a gift the beginning of this year (02/01/2014). It was an upgrade on my guardians' phone. I put my normal prepaid sim card in the phone and it worked but then last week the 23, the phone didn't want to work. It says Emergency Calls only. I took it to Samsung, they put in different sim cards and tried to investigate what was wrong and they said that I should take it back to Nashua. I then did, the man from Nashua put in a Nashua contract sim card and Viola, it works. So what it comes down to is that the phone will only work if it is a Nashua sim card. I'm sorry but that is bull. I need this to be fixed immediately. I asked to buy a Nashua sim card and do a sim swap, but no you don't sell sim cards, well I have been without a phone for too long now and you guys are sitting with arms folded. Do something about this!!!
