Harrasment Failure to correct a situation

After settling my account with virgin in November 2012 and having recieved a paid up letter i recieved a call fro "The Real People"collection agency demanding R2100 be transfered into the account in order to settle.

I get harrased often by this collection agency and send the proof of payment to them and tell them to talk to virgin mobile but thier response is always, We were handed the file by virgin Mobile Pay up or be listed!
This is defamation of my good name. Why must i be responsible for virgins admin and why do they fail to communicate to the point where now i must be listed and debt collectors involved.
