Recently I found out that my name was on ITC for cellphone account with virgin mobile that I cancelled. The account was written off, without my knowledge. However in 2012 I cancelled the contract after requesting virgin Mobile to furnish me with all the relavant amounts owed to them for the process to be possible. The lady I delt with at virgin mobile assured me all relavant monies owed were paid and the account was closed and contract cancelled. So it was great shock for me when I was trying to get financial assist & found out i couldn't because select online, whom the account was handed over too had listed me as a bad payer&account written off. I have not recieved any communication from them before regarding this matter or any warning regarding this matter. I was requested to pay R527 which included legal feesto selectonline. No statements from virgin mobile prior to this account being handed over were issued to me, or any communication regarding the matter. As far as I knew, the contract was cancelled&account closed.
