I am really at my wits end with Telkom Internet. In two words: utterly useless
For the past week, my international bandwidth has been virtually non-existent. That means not being able to stream any videos (e.g. Netflix) over my 4Mbps line.
I pay a LOT of money (R500) just to have a broadband Internet connection capable of running multimedia services. Right now, I might as well have dial-up or basic 3G for a fraction of the price.
Called Telkom on Friday. Waited 40 mins for an agent. He did a port reset - didn't help. When I asked him to log a fault, I was transferred to another agent. only knows why. After another 20 minutes or so, I hung up.
Tried again tonight. This time it took closer to an hour for somebody to pick up. The gem of an agent told me I was actually an Axxess customer.? Funny that because I pay Telkom Internet for 20GB of data every month. I resorted to using a temporary Axxess login at the weekend because Telkom Internet was unusable. This time, I insisted on logging the fault immediately but was forcefully transferred to DSL line faults. Huh?!?!
I need this problem sorted ASAP or my TI subscription cancelled. Your call... I'm not waiting another week
