Internet went down on Sunday 3 Nov at 12:07 am (just after midnight). I SMSed Telkom's fault line and received a Fault Reference number (1CRK031113). I called Telkom later that day, and we tested the line and they determined that the fault was on the side of the OpenWeb provides my data. I called OpenWeb and internet was restored. Today, one week later, a Telkom truck arrives at my house. I assumed he had the wrong address, as my internet has been working all week. I told him my internet was fine, and the fault reference was an old one. He drove away, and 5 minutes later, my internet AND phone line were down!! This can't be a coincidence!
My guess is that Telkom failed to close the fault after I called. The technician was frustrated to not get any overtime (I notice they LOVE to come on a Sunday) and somehow sabotaged/disconnected my line!
I literally have at least one fault reference number for every month of this year except January (Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov)
This is not acceptable!!!
