I recently updated my 2mbps line to a 4mbps line via Axxess. Both my Adsl line and package are with Axxess. My 4mb line has been running at speeds under 100kbps since the 'upgrade'. I logged my first ticket with Axxess on 2013-12-05 at 12:59:52. Since the first time I logged the issue with Axxess, I've spoken to 7 different people via email and phone calls to rectify the problem, 2 weeks later my line is still running like I'm on dial-up in 1995. Axxess says the slow speeds are due to a fault on Telkom's side and keep logging the fault with Telkom. It's been two weeks of logging faults and nothing has been done to fix the problem. That's terrible service. I pay Axxess for my bundled service (line and adsl package), it shouldn't matter who's fault it is, Axxess should deliver the service I pay the for. I understand now and then I'll experience slow speeds due to congestion and other factors, but two weeks running at this speed is ridiculous, especially when I use the line for business, not just tweeting and facebooking.
