I took out a data contract with MTN last year and noticed that every month I was being charged for smses that I had not sent. I laid a complaint with the call centre in November 2013 (Ref no. 106655869) and on 3 January 2014 logged a complaint on the MTN website (Ref no. 3092997), however to this date I have not received any response from MTN. I had a similar problem with MTN a few years ago and changed to a different network. This time I had thought MTN had improved but I guess I was wrong. However, this is the last contract I will ever take out with MTN and neither will I recommend this network to anyone. I would like this query to be resolved asap and would like to be credited for all those smses that I did not send.
