I work from home over the internet and I have been experiencing very low speeds for about two weeks. A week ago I reported the fault because I did not want to complain if the fault was going to sort itself out.
Since then I have received 4 sms's from Telkom stating that my line has been fixed when it was not. Since yesterday I have had no internet whatsoever. I called it in and asked for it to be escalated and it was. I still have all the reference. This morning I received another sms that says my line has been fixed.

This same procedure has happened more than once in the past.
If you ever have the choice do not choose Telkom!
