1. I have received my latest invoice from MTN and I have been billed R1328.06 for data which I did not use. I have an Iphone 5 and have my APN set to Afrihost as I am using them as provider for my cellular data. I have reported this to the MTN service centre in Brooklyn but I have not received any feedback on the matter from anyone at MTN.
2. I wanted to apply for an additional line on my account. I first went to MTN Menlyn Mall who captured the application and then told me to go to the service Centre as there was a block on my account and they were not part of MTN. The system says I work for Discovery and I have never worked there. The Service Centre in Menlyn could not help me as they did not have the phone I wanted in stock. I then went to the MTN Service Centre in Brooklyn who did have stock but they also had a problem and could not add another number to my account. I had to drive there twice just to be told that they are still busy with their technical department. I have also phoned the call centre who logged a support ticket and today it's a week later and nobody has contacted me.
This is shocking, almost 8 years with MTN and this is the worst service ever.
