I recently took out a data contract with MTN (cell number 0834463027), so expected to pay a bit more the first month, but this month received a bill for my laptop and data contract for R1581.40, R1106.61 of which I am being billed for Packet Switched data calls when I specified to Ricky when applying for my contract that I only want 2GB of data per month and want it limited to that so that I do not get billed for any more. The first month I had my laptop I even phoned the call centre to add another 1GB to my package because I was under the impression it was restricted. Ricky specifically asked me whether I wanted it unlimited or not and was busy filling in some form on system when I told him this. I phoned the MTN call centre on the 27th August when I received the bill in the mail and spoke to Cenotia, got Reference number 103463993 and was told an account query was logged, but no one has bothered getting back to me and last night MTN debited my account for R1810.39 REALLY LOUSY SERVICE MTN!
