I bought a 24 gig internet dongle from Neotel in January 2013. Around 5 March 2013 it stopped working and I phoned the call centre to find out what the problem was. I was told that they had a problem with the server and that it should be fine the following day, which was not the case. I phoned the call centre again the following day and was then told that my 24 gigs were depleted (in a matter of 2 month??). I asked them to send me a breakdown of the usage. The breakdown I received showed that every single time I tried to connect to the internet (even when the connection was unsuccessful), 160 MB were deducted from my balance? I am not an IT guru, but this does not seem correct? I raised this issue with a superviser and was told that he will escalate my query to the consumer technical department. I have been waiting for feedback for a few weeks and my emails are being ignored. Nobody can explain how I used 24 gigs in 2 months. This is the second 24 gig dongle that lasted less than 3 months. I think the Neotel internet data is a complete rip off and I find their service shocking.
