I went to Vodacom's Centurion branch in July 2012. I upgraded from a BlackBerry to an iPhone. While I was there I asked them to cancel the Blackberry Internet Service and my 200 SMS bundle.
I have since noticed that neither of the items was cancelled. I have since cancelled both services myself.
I have also approached the store for a refund of the money that was deducted from my account for the period. The assistant manager I spoke to informed me that they would not be doing so as it is the customers responsibility to cancel the services. If this was the case then I consider this to be extremely poor service from their side, as I was not informed about this fact when I asked them to cancel the services.
I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received, and will not be returning to that particular store in the future.
