I am a loyal client to Vodacom for 15 years today I am very upset. I upgraded 1 of my many contracts in July 2013 & took out a Samsung S4. Upon taking out this contract I explicitly advised the consultant that I want to ONLY pay the monthly subscription amount of R399 & Nothing more as I will remain on the pay as you go. He understood & advised me that everytime I run out of airtime or data I will need to "top it up" and that was great! In July (the phone was all new to me) I noticed that my whatsapp messages was not delivering to my recipients. I made contact with the Vodacom technical and was told I ran out of data and was advised how to go about purchasing same. Twice I ran out of Data and purchased the 2gig through Vodacom. suddenly today I receive a message that I am in access of my limit & my bill is R2900. WTH who gave them the right to give me data?? I pay for data & airtyme when needed. Did Vodacom have a BAD mot=nth during January and we suffering the consequences?? Please sort this out otherwise I will NOT be a fan of Vodacom whom I have been a client to for over 15 years!
