Last weekend I went to 2 MTN shops to try to cancel an expired contract.
The first place (Roodepoort Hyperama) tells me they don't have the required forms.
The second place (Clearwater mall) tells me that they would have to dial the 808 service and the service only operates weekdays office hours.
So both places actually refused to help me (or just were not empowered to do so).
I filled in papers to cancel a 2GB data deal - part of the same contract - in March 2013 at Cresta - MTN ignored the request - still paying.
So forget the 24 month story, MTN contracts seem to be forever.
