On the 14th of January 2014 I went onto the Telkom website to see the different cellphone deals that they have on offer. I decided on the Samsung III Mini for R169.00 per month and while I was online used their online ordering service. Which worked beautifully. I received a call from Ajanda (very nice and professional) to verify all my details and informed me that my application will be going for a credit check and as soon as that is done she will let me know and they will send me the device. Today the 22nd January 2014 I received a call from the same Ajanda (still nice) to inform me that I have passed the security check and that they are struggling to enter my details as that specific deal expired on the 20th January 2014. I was then offered another deal either cheaper but does not have the same features or one much more...
To my disgust after explaining to Ajanda and obviously her supervisor Perushni that I do not want another deal but the one that I applied for I was told that they could not help me at all. I find this most unprofessional that I was not contacted at all during the 6 days from application to expiry of deal to inform me of their problem - which is now mine???
