Wanting a contract but no handset available

Hi,

On 8 Jan 2014 I went to a Telkom 8ta store (East Rand Mall) and was told about the top up contracts currently on special.

The one I was interested in was the Samsung S3 Mini to take the SmartSaver deal. I pay R169 per month, get R100 airtime and 100 SMS's per month. Now Dudu working at the store told me to send through a completed aplication form which I sent through on 10 Jan 2014. She ordered this phone, today is 15 Jan 2014 and im still waititng for her response after I had emailed her this morning as she told me to query with her today.

My question is why do you have phones on special but you dont have it available in stores, this defiets the object here, how long do I have to wait to actually get a phone and have a contract in place.
