After enquiring and applying to become a telkom mobile customer my application was approved. I opted for the Smartplan 250 with a Samsung S4 mini handset as advertised on page 24 of the Telkom Nov/Dec 2013 Edition Brochure which package was explained and suggested by the Telkom mobile sales person.
However when I enquired as to when I can collect the handset and activate the package I was told that Telkom mobile's billing department said the deal is exclusive to businesses only. This advert a[pears under the business section of the brochure however on the same page it states the following: "All mobile deals are available to individual consumers or businesses.
I am of the opinion that based on the terms and conditions as it appears on the advertised page of the deal that I shold be allowed to subscribe to that deal - The deal in question is the "Rethink Smart Plan - Samsung Galaxy S4 mini 8GB for R399 pmx24 on the Smartplan 250"
1. Is the Smart Plan a consumer of business package?
2. Why does the terms and conditions that apply to ALL MOBILE DEALS not applied to individuals?
Will Telkom gove me the advertised deal as reqested?
