Telkom
Forceful tactics employed to hamper small business

1. On the Telkom bill for 0315125205 for Jun2013 there is an amount of R1014.93 for international calls. I enquired about this and Telkom insisted that I had made international calls. I told them we are a small business and I am in charge of PABX and IT and have al calls logged. Further, I had provided pictures of ease of access of Telkom lines in the guardhouse at our complex. All this did not matter to Telkom as they refused to listed but insisted that I prove that I did not make the calls. I further informed them that the line I have has international call barring in place so international calls and hence I could not have made the calls. Further all calls are logged on our PABX. All this did not matter to them.

2. Each time I have to spend a significant amount of my time each month explaining this to the accounts people in Telkom.

3. Account has been once again suspended from Monday 20JAN2014. As of today 22JAN2014 the line is still suspended. I refuse to pay the amount in dispute but have ensured that all other payments are up to date.

4. Each time Telkom says that the amount in dispute is under investigation but yet each time I have to suffer loss of service.
