I have had the same Telkom line for 29 years and suddenly find that I cannot call internationally. After several calls to 10210 being sent all over the various on-line menus and waiting for up to 45 minutes at a time for a response from a consultant I was informed that my international calls have been blocked and that this is done to reduce in "high risk" areas. I live in a small country town and other people in my street are not blocked. Why was I not given the courtesy of being informed of this? Secondly, the line can't be unblocked online - I have to go to my nearest Telkom office which is 100 kms way. This is unacceptable. Help please!
