I have a blackberry. My phone froze yesterday. I called there customer service, where i was rudely asked what did i do with the phone. Then i was told to go to one of the nearest branch to do a software update and if that doesnt work then it must go in for 6 weeks for a repair. I then went to east rand mall to do the software update, where i interupted a young man that was playing on his cellphone to help me, i explained what the problem was only to be told that i must pay R100 to do a software update. He then checked if he could do a update, there was no update to be done. he then said to me i can take it to vodacare which repairs it while u wait in lakeside mall or midrand. i took it in today to midrand only to be told that they dont repair hardware, it will take 2 weeks. Staff was to busy playing on phones to notice customers waiting. I am on a contract he didnt even explain why i must pay R100 for an update? He obiviously did not know where and how the repairs work, maybe the staff need to be trained on the services. Now i have to wait 2 weeks for my phone to be repaired because i was given wrong information. Really bad service
