In October, 2013, I switched from contract to prepaid. My contract had actually expired in June, 2013 but the agent I spoke to was reluctant to terminate the contract, so I continued to pay the monthly instalment and got airtime loaded on my old phone monthly. The airtime kept accumulating. In October when I realised that my balance was approaching a thousand rands and I decided to terminate it. I was promised that my airtime of R917.47 would be refunded. I was given a reference to that regard. I waited a day and when I didn't receive my airtime, I called back and provided my reference number. The agent confirmed that there were notes on the system about the refund and told me to wait 48 hours. I waited 48 hours and the airtime was not refunded. Countless of calls and three reference numbers later and a promise to call, I still don't have the airtime.
