This is the second complaint about the same issue, but if the executive board are trying to bread a culture of incompetence in the organization, then please read this as a compliment as you are succeeding in your objective.
My original complaint, which got no response for over a week was because I could not upgrade to a package I wanted.
A week later, I get a call from someone who has no real interest in my complaint, they tell me it is all fine and I can migrate my account.
I then go into the Vodacom in Midrand, only to find my request was not attended to.
I had asked for an UPGRADE not a MIGRATION.
AGAIN, I get told that my profile is not high enough to upgrade, EXACT reason I complained in the first place.
So I ask the person in CUSTOMER CARE to resolve the issue, the response is that "Customer services cannot help with a service complaint!?! "
So, my understanding at this point is that I qualify to pay the amount of the package if I migrate, but not if I upgrade, because then I would receive a free phone with my request!
Only reason I want to do this is because I need the phone.
MTN is starting to look very inviting!
Please let us resolve this 21day old issue urgently!
