On Friday the 15th March I received a telephone call from a Nikita from Vodacom advising me that the weekender contract has been discontinued and due to the fact that I am due for an upgrade next month I need to be migrated onto one of the new plan options. During this conversation she suggested that I migrate to the smart small plan option and then went on to tell me that I would then qualify for any smart phone for free. She even said that I could get the I-Phone 5 for free if I wanted it. I asked her several times if she was sure this was for free as I had looked at the Vodacom website and to me it looks like you pay an additional amount depending on the handset you choose. She reassured me several times that I would get any smart phone for free. This quite frankly is and false "advertising". I am sure an organization of your size would have call recordings and therefore can very easily verify this.

On the 19th March I sent a complaint to customer care re this and now 23 days later have heard nothing. Such poor service after I have been loyal to you for 13 years. Time to choose a new provide
