I received feedback from the Executive Client Liaison Officer, Jaco Von Metzinger. Could someone please assist me whom is able to do his job properly. This will be officially the last time that I log a hellopeter report, then I will revert to the media regarding this matter. On thursday the 16th of January 2014 Mr Jaco Von Metzinger gave the following feedback: "Dear Mr Lombard, The reason for the pay-in is due to the value of the handset. If you migrate to a higher package the pay-in would be less. Regards" If you read my problem properly you would have noticed that the problem is: I WANT TO MIGRATE TOWARDS A SMART M PACKAGE. When there is a PAY-IN amount, you have the option to put down the money at once or the handset pay in amount could be added to your monthly subscription. MEANING, on a smart M package you will have to pay R200 on the handset and - R200 for contract subscription, problem solved. We tried to do this Mr Von Metzinger without success, we ONLY have the option to make pay in of - R5000, which is nonsense.
