Telkom's Retention Strategy (Horrible)

I now realise what Telkom Business' client retention strategy is. If you want to cancel your account-YOU CANT CANCEL IT!! I have been trying for four months to cancel two Telkom business lines I have not used for over two years with absolutely no joy. Every time you phone the Telkom Business assist line 10217 which they answer in less than one minute-you must be transferred to cancellations. I have tried this seven times and I never get through to a consultant to cancel the line and drop the call after holding for a half an hour. I also tried going into a Telkom shop-all they say is that you have to phone to that number and hold on for cancellations. This is a fantastic retention strategy, and my bill just keeps on coming each month for something I do not use... No wonder Telkom is losing so much market share to other business service providers.
