I moved from a property in Montana to a Property in Rietfontein and contacted Telkom to transfer my line to the new property. I found out that Telkom did not transfer the line but opened a new line, worst of all they changed my contract from a personal line to a business line without consulting me. I stay in a residential property. I had uncapped ADSL access which is now with the new contract been changed to limited. I struggled more than a month to get Telkom to cancel the old line which was only supposed to be transferred. Needless to say, I now have to pay for 2 lines this month and I am struggeling to get them to put me back onto the contract that I was. I am considering to cancel all my lines with Telkom and rather go with a cellphone service provider. It is a constant strugge to do business with Telkom. The old Telkom line is 012 548 6190 and the new number is 012 330 1264.
