Z10 - not informed of BIS usage

I took out a Z10 deal December whereby you get two phones at the Edgars store Tygervalley. I asked the lady if I could put my sim card of my existing contract into the new phone and she said I could. She also said I would need to do a sim swap because of the different sizes in the sims. What she failed to do was inform me that I would not have BIS on the Z10. To my shocking surprise I received a bill of over R2000.00. Upon phoning the callcentre I was advised that BIS is not available on a Z10. Why was I not informed of this. I got an extra sim card which was not even RICA in the store because of me using my sim of my existing contract.
I went to the Vodacom store in Brackenfell to find out what I can do and was told there is nothing that can be done I would have make arrangements to pay the money off. I was also told that the reason my account was so high was because data is charged at R2 per MB. Please refer to my previous accounts an you will see I never ever had such a high bill. Somebody should have told me that my existing contract would automatically fall away and I would have to pay for using the Internet. This is not acceptable.
