R10 000 data bill!!!

I have just received a ridiculous data bill of R10000!! I have two data contracts with Vodacom and I have never exceeded the usage on either. We recently got a wireless router and the incorrect sim card was put into the router unknown to me. This simcard only has 500 meg available and does not cut off after usage. This card was in the router. The first bill I received was for over R1000, then the second bill was R10 000! Not once did Vodacom contact me to query the high usage despite the fact that for over a year I had never exceeded 500 megs.

The card which was supposed to be in the router is a 2Gig Top Up Data. I have never been able to access the available data bundle balance on My Vodacom as it keeps giving an error that there is no data bundle. I have to phone them for a balance but it was never a problem as the data would stop at the 2Gig mark. There was 3.96Gig available at month end which was 1.96 Gig for May and 2Gig for June. (May's expired on 30/6/2013).

I have contact Vodacom many times and they cannot assist me as I cannot get past any call centre staff. How can they not contact me to inform me of the high usage, surely they should take some responsibility here.
