Received a new Sony Ericsson phone on contract from Vodashop and came home to discover that it had an out of the box flaw - the casing would not clip shut on one side, thus negating the waterproofing.
I took the phone back to Vodashop and was told that they would not replace it for me, but would send it off for repairs instead - 7 to 10 days wait, during which time i will be without a phone due purely to them originally supplying me with a defective product - which i returned immediately.
When i told them that I could not be without a phone for approaching 2 weeks i was told that i could then drive through to Greenpoint and take it to the repair center myself, then maybe i would only have to wait 2 or 3 days. So therefore, no matter what, i am bound now to be highly inconvenienced by someone else's mistakes. I find this staggeringly arrogant, is this even legal?
