I stopped my account with Virgin Mobile and I received a Cancelation Confirmation in writing dated 6 May 2013. The letter stated that the effective date of cancellation is 31 May 2013 and that the last premium will be deducted on the 1st of July 2013. Another premium now went off. When I questioned this, I was told that I still have to pay until the 1st of September. I sent them the letter I received from them and the story stay;s the same. How can a company confirm in writing that a contract is stopped and keep on deducting premiums? This is totally against the Consumer Protection Act and I WILL lay a complaint against Virging Mobile. Think twice before signing contract with this company!!!
