HOLDING FOR OVER AN HOUR TO SPEAK TO A CONSULTANT

As usual, when I call the MTN customer care call centre, I end up holding for a ridiculous amount of time! I am on hold right now and my phone currently says I have been holding for over an hour, ten mins and counting! How is this possible? Will my call ever be answered?! I don't know, because no one says they will attend to my call and there is no information to say where I am in the queue. I could just be caught in a perpetual repeat of the MTN whistle song!

This is not the first time that I have had to hold for over an hour to speak to a consultant! It happens pretty much every time I call MTN. Yes, they have lots of customers to deal with, but is this how much MTN values my/our business that it treats customers like this? Are they hoping I will just hang up?

Get more people in your call centre for goodness sakes. My phone is on speaker because I can't hold it to my ear for over and hour. I will get a brain tumour and carpal tunnel syndrome! So, everyone in my office can hear how long I have been on hold and they are shocked, saying they don't hold like this when they call Vodacom. Bad advertising for you guys!

Makes me want to change networks. This is painful!
