Re: Mobile offer advertised. I visited 3 branches in the Vaal area. I was consistently met with appalling service, a callous attitude and sales persons clearly or pretending very hard to appear incompetent. There were long queues with only 1 or 2 persons working while 4 or more workstations were empty. And NOT ONE of the outlets HAD STOCK . I called outlets in the Vaal and North West a few times beforehand to verify stock availability. All the calls is left unanswered or the lines are busy. I came to the conclusion that this is a company you probably don't want to do business with, nevertheless in January I decided to do an online application. They called me back the following morning. They have a ridiculous system where they ask you questions like obsolete contact details and accounts held etc probably obtained from credit bureaus. Apparently they know me better than I do myself because I did not 'pass' these questions. I requested a reference number but they refused/could not provide me with one. They advised me to go to the branch? I have been there! Numerously! I am beginning to think Telkom prides itself on it's level of service, probably the worst I have ever encountered
