Deducting money after cancellation of service

I cancelled my Vodacom Topup 135 contract on the 22nd of December 2012 as requested from Vodacom. They instructed me to give a months notice if i no longer need the service. I then phoned on the 22nd of Dec 2012 and cancelled. The lady told me that my account will be debited on the end of December and that will be my last deduction from my account. My service with Vodacom will expire on 22/01/2013 and the account will be switched to pre-paid. At the end of Jan 2013 another debitorder goes off. Now Vodacom tells me that I paid now for the airtime i received in Jan 2012. I find this totally rediculous and want a refund for that debitorder amount. I switched from Vodacom to CellC because of the fact that Vodacom is much more expensive with all their services. I will do my best to make sure that everybody I know that is on Vodacom, convert it to CellC - Vodacom is!
