Its the 30th of November 2013 when my family and i decide to finally go get a new phone for myself under a contract which has been due for an upgrade since the beginning of that month in Mtn Menlyn next to Mr Price clothing. The old phone was a Samsung Galaxy SII for which i decided to upgrade to Sony Xperia Z1 which went down okay except for one part, the Xperia Z1 uses a micro sim instead of the normal sim. We were told (by the person who was helping us whom i cannot remember her name unfortunately) to pay R135 for the sim swap which we did and the she told us it should be working within 24 hours. 24 hours passed and nothing happened, i decided to call Mtn customer care and gave them the relevant details and they told me no sim swap was processed for my number and i was told to go back to the shop with my mom to enquire about it, what an incovenience. My mom is a busy person but she finally found the time and we went back on the 21st of December 2013. We were assisted by a different person but he assured us that he'll have the sim card working after 24 hours. That has never happened to date, it is really disappointing because we did everything that was asked of us.
