Nearly 2 years ago I complained about bad reception in this area, Vodacom phoned me a few times asking me questions and admitted there was a problem, but said they where busy solving it since then it as just got worse and worse, I have spoken to neighbours who also said they have problems.
I have 2 boosters in my house one for 3g and one for phone. with the 3g it shows 3G or higher connection but at times very slow and sometomes can't even load a web page, on my phone side I can only get edge unless stood next to booster but a lot of times I just get Emergency services only, this happens mostly on a Sunday and not the phone have had 3 different people in house with different phones all down at same time.
My friend in Benoni also as Vodacom and when we phone we get very bad connections at times like talking down a tunnel and get cut off on a regular basis, sometimes like tonight 3 times, one night we where cut off 6 times in 15 mins
