I received a recycled number from Mtn in 2012. I realized that my airtime just disapears. I finally contact MTN and they tell me there are active subscriptions on the number and they explain how i should unsubscribe. To my horror when I did as was told *141*5# i found three active subscriptions on my number 1. For R20 a week 2. For R5 a day 3. For R3 a day. I do hold MTN responsible as I was not informed of these subscriptions on the number. The number used to belong to A ms Singh!! Surely MTN should clear these numbers completely or scrap it completely. I have been stalked due to this I have now been paying for someone else's subscriptions unknowingly and unwittingly!! MTN needs to wake up, I will contact every newspaper i can think of even Carte Blanche and ombudsman if i have to. I am sure I am not the only customer who has gone through this. Sure as want feedback on this!! It's a disgrace and disgust that you don't protect your customers from scenarios like this. Awaiting a prompt response.
