POOR SERVICE, SIGNAL and BILLING

I got billed by Cell C for subscriptions that I had not applied for in any way. I did contact Cell C after which they had suspended my number and told me that the company (smart call technologies) won't be able to bill me (which was incorrect, they were able to bill me, as confirmed by cell c manager today). After the 48 hour waiting period I called again where they told me that I should cancel the subscription which I did not apply for. After getting the incorrect contact details from cell C twice I called Cell C customer care yet again after which they told me they cant do anything about it. Its been approx 3 weeks with my number finally active. They cant protect any user from subscriptions and are willing to reduce they credit limit to R1. But once you reach the R1 limit you can not use your free minutes, sms or free data... wow that's helpful. I have been subscribed to vodacom for approx 7 years with no probelms. I have been on the phone with Cell C for approx 3.5 hours and endless hours trying to stop subscriptions. Is the cheaper rate worth the time and unnecessary trouble money... to put it simply: NO!!! 1.5 months with cell C, only another 22.5 to go...
