I had a contract with vodacom at a reduced rate p/m of R150. I the in the mean time received a comany phone and was using phone seldomely. I was due for upgrade but decided to keep no and and go to pay as you go. I phoned 3 months in advance to get the date that I can cancel. They said on 26 Feb 2013. I mailed on 6 Feb after confirming the contract end date. Now they say the contract is all ready 24 months and I need to pay full price for the last month. If my contract ended then at least my notice period was 6 march and not 26. Anything to get more out off customers. They lost a client. I also have influence in a company which have hundreds of contracts with vodacom. Guess who will loose more business.
