I signed up on Telkom Mobile recently in December because of thier good deals. I was promised that where I live (Midrand) there is full Telkom coverage and I will be able to use the 5Gig promotional data that comes with my package. It turned out that there is no Telkom coverage where I live and the store insists there is coverage they just need to put the network booster in my area. The centurion store logged a call with their call centre on the 31December. I have since escalated to the call centre manager after the consultants told me there's not much they can do other than to update my record that I had called to follow up. The manager also told me that she is waiting for the technical department to respond and that was on Tuesday (7th Jan) and I am still waiting. I am frustrated because the reason I moved from MTN to Telkom was due to the 5gig data bundle that's on offer and now I can't even use it at home. Their service is appalling! I am still waiting for someone to attend to my query and today is the 10th. I went back to the store and asked them to follow up for me as well and they haven't.
