I recently moved to Equestria, which according to the 8ta coverage map, enjoys excellent coverage where I am located right in the centre op a huge blue coverage area. Actually the coverage is terrible and when I manage to find a signal the data speed is less than that which I enjoyed on my noisy 1980's modem.
The point is that I have decided to cancel my contract, because Telkom is not delivering a service any more. I was told at the Telkom Mobile branch in Menlyn that they will only cancel my contract if I am willing to make a full payment of ALL the months left in my contract, which is in clear contradiction to the CPA. The Menlyn was of zero assistance!!!
Please bear in mind that I did NOT receive any device from 8ta when I started this service term.
Please sort out this mess or a formal complaint to the appropriate commission will follow.
