I took it to HVRC on Thursday afternoon (31/01/2013). I booked it in with no issues, however when I went to collect the phone I was informed that it was out of it warranty, which is annoying for 2 reasons, firstly surely before I book it in they should let me know it's out of the warranty period (or even just give me a call), secondly when I got the 4S in March. I then said I would take my phone back with no repair, when receiving my phone back however I found it in worse condition than when I sent it in, there are chips on the screen, a massive scratch by the speaker, and scratches all over the back cover of the phone. The attitude of your consultant was shocking (Motlatsi Molopa), I showed him the book-in receipts (attached) and under "condition on handset" it says: "light scratches on the screen" but now all this? I for one always have a cover on my phone to prevent that and take care of my phone, I think that it is absolutely disgusting that MTN (HVRC) can treat someone else's property in that way, and not care at all.
