On 10 Jan I made a report about my unrepaired phone and received a response from MTN. On 14 Jan I was contacted by Francois who assured me my query would be handled and that it had been given to the appropriate people. Was then contacted by Tanya (Brooklyn) and was told that it was not MTN's problem, but the repair centre's mistake but she would give it over to the appropriate people and be in touch soon. No contact, I phoned her, no answer. I phoned Francois who gave me a call centre number! Call centre is high volume, does not answer. Tanya's nr only rang and still NO SOLUTION!! On 1 Feb I finally got hold of Tanya who stated that she sent an email to MTN, but have not heard anything yet. She once again told me that it was not MTN's problem, but that of the repair centre. I reminded her that her shop sent the phone to that repair centre and that MTN is certainly responsible. She promised to make contact with them and get back to me. And surprise surprise, I have not heard anything from her or anyone else for that matter to assist me herein. In the meantime I had to have an old phone repaired at a cost of R540 to have a functional phone while MTN takes their time (NOT) resolving my problem
