Firstly, I would just like to say that the answering time for the retention's department is disgusting. 3 phone calls lasting around 25min each, neither which were answered, instead I just hung up.
So onto the next best place for a response.
Beginning of this year I received an SMS stating that number 4913 was due for an upgrade which was strange as it was upgraded already sometime in 2013. So i thought it was a typo as I have 2 numbers, the other one being 4915 which hasnt been upgraded for about 2 years.
So I went into a MTN store to cancel the 4915 number as I no longer need it and the gentleman informs me I can only cancel in 2015 but the system shows that 4913 is due for an upgrade. Clearly when I upgraded, the wrong number was somehow upgraded or at least the contract end date was extended (although the package works on the number I upgraded).
I would just like someone from the accounts department to look into this as I really don't need nor want the 4915 number.
