I went to the Vodashop, Lifestyle centre in Polokwane to do 2 sim swops on 2 of my accounts. The woman there said I qualify for a upgrade on 1 of my accounts, and not my main contract. I did the sim swops and upgraded. She gave me the wrong sim for the phone that I got because it requires a micro sim. So that money down the drain.
My main contract I opened in 2005, so I upgraded in 2007, 2009, 2011 and it is supposed to be 2013.
When I called them to inquire about my upgrade, they said I can upgrade in 2015. 2015??? They said the woman there upgraded my main account in 2012 and it was because I asked for a pre-mature upgrade. Pre-mature upgrade??? I didnt even know that a pre-mature upgrade existed.
So the pre-mature upgrade that I didnt ask for and I only today was informed that I am paying more for too, means that I now will be stuck with this phone for 3 years.
Why if I am paying extra for a pre-mature upgrade "that I didnt ask for "and on the wrong contract. Now my term is extended to 3 years from the date this pre-mature bla bla bla was made incorrectly.
Makes no sense. Im finished with Vodacom. Cant wait till all of my contracts are over so that I can move to someone else.
