I upgraded my cellphone contract with Cell C on the 22nd of June 2012 at the clearwater branch and the following issues arised:
I encountered an error with the billing of my contract since the data was not loaded, and after 2 months only, AND after contacting HalloPeter this was sorted out.
Recently my cellphone fell and the screen cracked. Upon upgrading my contract on the above-mentioned date, there was told to me that I have insurance included in the package. I went to the Clearwater store to find out if I can repair my phone, however, apparently the insurance lapsed after 3 months. Also I APPARENTLY needed to phone the so-called insurance company at that time to activate the insurance.
This is not acceptable, since it must have been a by the salesperson at the Clearwater branch since I did not have proper insurance. Nobody indicated that I need to phone anyone to activate the insurance, neither did they indicate to me that it will lapse after 3 months.
This is not the first time I encounter issues with this branch, and this is unacceptable.
Please sharpen up your service, and also provide me with feedback on the insurance matter.
