THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I AM POSTING THIS COMPLAINT>>>I asked for cell phone insurance for my new phone at the end of June this year. On 26 Aug I went into Edgars to change the insurance from one phone to a new one (I have the slip for this) The lady apparently cancelled the cell phone insurance on the one, and re insured the other.
I received a statement at end of this month stating that I had a part month insurance plus 4 of R73.64. I was also charged cell insurance plus 4 of R158. Bearing in mind that since I asked for the insurance on my phone in June, I have NOT been charged for the insurance. Then for the month of December I have been charged almost 3 times?? I called the number I was sent via sms welcoming me to gadget insurance, this number was busy 3 days running. I then called your call centre waited (using my air time from my cell phone) and was told by a lady that I was insured for 2 phones. The more I told her I had cancelled the first phone insurance the more it seemed she didn't understand, and then said she could not amend my statement. I will NOT be charged for 2 cellphone insurances because of your staffs incompetence. Why has this matter not been sorted out?
