I have been an MTN subscriber for a number of year and have always upgraded as and when my contract was due! I then decided I wanted an early upgrade (month 18) but was told by the call centre that because I'm not spending a lot of money they won't entertain my application though their policy states that such an application can be approved if No early upgrade has been previously granted. The agent was plain rude and even uttered remarks that I was wasting his time when I was simply trying to understand why the part of the policy on early upgrades won't apply to me. No assessment was done prior to his utterances. I spoke to a couple of people at mtn with No success and have accepted to move on but what annoys me is the fact that my complaint against the call centre agent was simply ignored. I lodged a complaint via the mtn active service and it was recorded and closed without any action being taken! Logged a query (99620569) 2nd of May 2013 without any success - No feedback or satisfactory outcome. I then followed this up with another query (101875393) in July and was simply ignored. Clearly this is how a big corporate treats the little guy... disappointing!
