I spoke to a lady by the name of Gugu Mhlongo, firstly she was not very polite. I proceeded to ask her when my line was due for an upgrade - Her Response was I can not upgrade yet - My problem was that she was not very polite or mannered in her tone. I then proceeded to check on MTN active, I logged in and checked my profile, I looked under th MTN SP Customer Upgrade and Migration Policy - 9.In the event of a customer wanting to upgrade prior to month 21, this request must be forwarded to a Supervisor or manager who must have delegated authority to approve early upgrades for a decision. For all Corporate accounts early upgrades can only be approved by the Regional Sales Manager, General Manager Direct Sales, Senior Manager Business Operations, General Manager Customer Services or the Corporate Operations Manager. (Read in conjunction with clause 21). The request must be accompanied by a financial motivation. No early upgrade is allowed if it has been granted previously. I have not done an activation on this praticular line, there is no clause that states that you can not upgrade in your first term. I am very displeased in the service I recieved
