I have an uncapped, shaped, Internet account with @lantic. My account no: 701601. My account has today been throttled. When I enquired about this, I was told that I have "abused" the Internet with excessive usage. My problem is the following: 1. Nowhere does it state how much I am allowed to use (uncapped account!!) 2. No warning was sent to me that I am using too much bandwidth (email, sms, phone call etc) 3. My Internet is now completely unusable. I cannot even send an email on Gmail - I am working from home and my income depends on me being able to send quotations and invoices to my clients. I use the Internet to place ads on Gumtree, OLX etc. I cannot do this now. This is unconstitutional, as I have the right to earn a living.
This behaviour of @lantic is completely unprofessional. (May I say that, before they merged with VOX Telecoms, I received a MUCH better service).
